About

Writer, artist, musician, and design engineer, in that order. Though the monetary rewards from each endeavor would rank in the reverse order, unfortunately.  Quit my job in my early 20s and wrote a novel while backpacking around SE Asia, but then I ran out of money and real life, the rude s-o-b, barged back in. I ran out of steam on the third revision and moved to the beach in Florida, where I drank too much craft beer and whittled away a decade without writing. With 40 creeping up and giving me the stink eye, I’ve plunged back in with a vengeance. Half way through my second novel as of May, ’14

  1. Thanks for following . Wow! You really are buckling down. I quit my full-time job as a writer to write for myself, but life keeps intruding. I write at least weekly and will get back to it more frequently when I can’t stay away that long. In the meantime, I’m working through plodding places in my in-progress book and balancing writing with everything else I enjoy.

    1. Thank you so much, Suzanne. I am very flattered, but after much deliberation I’ve decided to keep my little corner strictly for writing. Many thanks for thinking of me, however. Best of luck in your adventures!

  2. Thanks for the follow. I know how Life gets in the way of writing. I struggle with it every day, carving out time whenever I can. And, of course, procrastinating when I am in revision, because I hate it so much!!

  4. Appreciate you following my blog! Love how you have this site organized; real helpful information without coming off condescending or as we say in Florida, like a dick. 🙂 Glad you’re sticking to the goal of completing your novel…may your discouraging moments be few and far between!

  12. Thanks for following my blog. I’m glad you liked it. I’m not in the same league as you are with the whole writing addiction thing, but I’m fairly new to this. I do feel like I’ve got at least one book rumbling around in there somewhere. Maybe one of these days I’ll get around to putting it on paper.
Yeah, life gets in the way. I only wish I had more TIME to do all the things I need to, the writing/blogging just gets shoved to the side. I try to keep up with it but sometimes it’s just impossible. 😦
